The Elite Fourum Rules!
What is this thread for?
When this forum was created years ago, we had many different pages in which the rules were located. Over time as the forum developed and areas were added/removed it became apparent that there was a need to overhaul and place all the forum rules into one centralized location. We’ve updated the wording from the initial rule pages, but the meanings are exactly the same. Please read these rules to become familiar with the expectations of all members on this site.

1.1. Please do not be overly threatening or abusive towards members. Do not make personal attacks or threatening remarks towards anyone on the site. When discussing a topic use as much fact as possible. Any personal remarks will be evaluated and moderated if necessary.
1.2. Any post(s) mentioning or referencing a banned member may be removed. Since the handful of banned members are privately logged, members will be pm'd when this rare instance occurs.
1.3. Let the staff team do their jobs. Do not make accusations or criticisms in regards to moderation. Any public posts about an infraction will be removed. Please message a staff member if you need clarification. If members proceed to troll the site after being modded they will be banned.
1.4. Libel and Defamation will not be tolerated and is a permanent ban offense.
1.5. Bumping threads that have a last post of over 2 months ago is against the rules. There are exceptions to this rule:
**Bumping a topic, no matter how old, with new or relevant information to what is being discussed is acceptable and in fact encouraged.
**Bumping your own collection thread is fine regardless of time.
Selling & Advertisement
2.1. Unless specifically approved by a staff member, No Sales or Trade threads allowed.
2.2. Those members whose main existence on this forum is to sell and spam the site will be warned and removed if necessary.
2.3. Any advertisement, solicitation or spam posts will be removed immediately. This includes posting your, your companies, or your friends auctions, facebook groups, business links, inventory, etc. Posts advertising the sales of banned members or blacklisted sellers will be removed at the mods discretion.
2.4. Do not attempt to tactically post items you are going to sell. This includes asking for "advice" on "how to sell" specific items. If you want to ask for sales advice, you must not list any specific items.
2.5. All Ebay Rover/Affiliate links on the site and discord will be removed or replaced. Self-promoting off-site services and tools that are paid, generate rover links, or generate ad/sponsor revenue is prohibited.
2.6 Any participating member working or sponsored by a company in the collectible field, this has to be disclosed. Failure to disclose affiliation may lead to a ban.
3.1. Members of the forum who engage in unscrupulous activity will not be tolerated. This type of activity includes but is not limited to: Shill bidding, opening eBay/PayPal cases without merit, doxing, excessive trolling. We do not condone this activity; it will be moderated accordingly.
3.2. Avatars and Signatures: Please keep your signature to a maximum width of 600 pixels and a maximum height of 275 pixels. (If you want to put multiple pictures in your signature, all of your pictures as a whole shouldn't exceed this size). Avatars must be no more than 150 pixels in height and no more than 150 pixels in width. Animated or GIF signatures are not allowed.
3.3. Post on topic. Conversations naturally evolve and we encourage discussion. However, posts which are completely irrelevant will be removed at the discretion of the staff.
3.4 There is to be no posting, sharing, or otherwise involving pornographic or explicit media within our forum. This includes, but is not limited to, videos, pictures, and links containing full or partial nudity of real and cartoon persons. If you are unsure about whether or not your post qualifies, message a staff member and they will confirm for you.
3.5 Expressly political posts are strongly discouraged as they derail threads and create unnecessary division. Passing jokes/references to political figures and current events are acceptable, but use your best judgement. Posts that serve only to advocate a political position/create a debate are subject to removal, and threads that devolve into political debates may be locked/removed.
Section Specific Rules:
4.1. All giveaways will take place in the Giveaway Section. If a giveaway is found on other sections of the forum, it will be removed.
4.2. If you are interested in hosting a giveaway you need to message smpratte.
5.1. Members must have 50 posts in order to create a buy thread. You may view or respond to buy threads no matter your post count. Spamming (e.g. making many short/unengaged posts in a short period of time) to reach this threshold is prohibited.
5.2. ALL BUY THREADS REQUIRE A PRICE. Any thread without prices or undefined cash offers will be removed. This rule was voted in by the members.
5.3. Bumping your buy thread is only allowed after seven days have passed with no activity on your post.
5.4. Only if a member is interested in purchasing a card in their buy thread may you respond its for sale. You are not permitted to hijack threads and state you have cards for sale that are not requested by the buyer.
5.5. The buy section is the only area in which members are able to buy.
5.6. Do not create multiple Buy Threads unless your previous Buy Thread was completed or it expired beyond the week bump time frame.
- Once you've acquired your item(s) feel free to post in your completed buy thread and it can be locked by the mods.
Insider Bureau Section
6.1. If you are interested in posting in The Giant Auction Thread, please read through all the rules pertaining to that area of the site. Link.

(If you want to put multiple pictures in your signature, all of your pictures as a whole shouldn't exceed this size). Avatars must be no more than 150 pixels in height and no more than 150 pixels in width.
